This state-of-the-art facility incorporates micro climate-controlled glasshouse cultivation space, and 12,000sqm of processing and support facilities, including large-scale GMP manufacture of medicinal cannabis products, as well as analytical chemistry and biology laboratories.
The facility has been constructed so that it can expand as required relative to market demands. At completion, it will be able to house 34,000sqm of cultivation space.
R&D Bundoora facility
La Trobe University, Bundoora – Wurundjeri Country
Focused on research and development of genetics, growing techniques and tissue culture. Features physical containment level-2 certified greenhouse cultivation areas and adjoining laboratory/ research facilities.
Cann Group is harnessing R&D collaborations with La Trobe University and Agriculture Victoria to accelerate the Company’s plant breeding programs, develop tissue culture methods, and generate proprietary, resilient, high-yielding cultivars. These genetic lines are first developed in Cann Group’s Northern research facility and then grown at the flagship Mildura commercial facility.
